About Medical Directors at MedVet:
This position offers a unique blend of leadership and clinical responsibilities, with approximately 50% of time dedicated to serving as Medical Director and 50% dedicated to clinical practice.

We leverage a Dyad Leadership Model in which the Medical Director (MD) partners closely with the Hospital Director (HD) to lead the healthcare team. The MD serves as the local medical leader, overseeing all specialty and emergency doctors while fostering a culture that supports engaged and empowered caregivers who embody MedVet's core values of Teamwork, Leadership, and Compassion.
The MD partners with the HD to evaluate, plan, and implement best-in-class healthcare delivery in support of our mission: Leading Specialty Healthcare for Pets. Together, the dyad leadership team provides strategic direction, promotes diversity of thought, and supports both operational and medical excellence.
