Customer Service Representative – Veterinary Clinic
Mountain View Animal Hospital – Essex Junction, VT

Are you a people person with a love for pets? Mountain View Animal Hospital is looking for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our friendly, dedicated team. Our CSRs are the first point of contact for our clients and play a vital role in creating a welcoming, professional experience for both pets and their people.

What You’ll Do:

  • Greet clients warmly and assist with check-in/check-out
  • Answer phones and emails promptly and professionally
  • Manage appointment scheduling and patient records
  • Process payments and prepare invoices accurately
  • Educate clients about preventive care, products, and services
  • Support our veterinary team by keeping the front desk running smoothly
  • Handle stressful situations with empathy, tact, and professionalism

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma (college degree preferred)
  • Strong customer service experience (veterinary or medical setting preferred but not required)
  • Comfortable with computers and adapting to software (experience with Avimark practice management system preferred but not required)
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills
  • Team-oriented, positive, and compassionate
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
  • Genuine love for animals and their people
