Location: Fresno, CA

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to $75,000 annually (DOE)


Position Summary

The Bookkeeper is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping functions to ensure accurate financial records and smooth business operations. This role supports accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll coordination, and month-end close activities, while maintaining compliance with company policies and accounting standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare, review, and post journal entries
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate general ledger records
  • Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
  • Process invoices, apply payments, and follow up on collections as needed
  • Support payroll processing and payroll-related reporting
  • Maintain vendor and customer accounts and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare financial schedules and reports for management and external accountants
  • Assist with audits, tax support, and compliance documentation
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting and bookkeeping processes


Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • 3–5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
