Job Description:

Under the direction of a licensed nurse, Dialysis Technicians contribute to the care of patients in accordance with the standards of care, CMS regulations and health system policies by monitoring patients during treatment. Responsible for setting up patients and equipment, monitoring vitals throughout and the completing of treatment.Education: ▪ Required: High School Diploma or equivalentExperience: ▪ Preferred: CNA, phlebotomy or other medical experienceSkills: ▪ Excellent verbal and written communication skills ▪ Exhibits valuable time management skills ▪ Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills ▪ Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment ▪ Basic computer skillsLicensure/Certification/Registration: ▪ Required: Must attain CHT or CCHT certification within 18 months of employment
