Location: Pomona, CA
Pay Rate: Up to $24/hr

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Shift: Day Shift

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and organized Administrative Assistant to support the Physical Therapy department in a medical office setting. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of administrative or secretary experience in a healthcare environment and strong patient-facing communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
  • Answer phones and assist patients, visitors, and hospital callers.
  • Greet, assist, and direct patients and visitors.
  • Complete patient check-ins and wellness billing.
  • Perform general office duties, including typing, faxing, scanning, filing, and making copies.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of insurance and third-party payer/reimbursement procedures.
  • Maintain accurate administrative and patient-related documentation.
  • May assist with the supervision and education of high school and college students.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Physical Therapy department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary in a medical office setting.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bilingual skills preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy medical office environment.
  • Comfortable working onsite Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM.
