Job description

Quality Assurance Clerk
Department: Quality Assurance
Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Overtime as needed)

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Clerk to support our Quality Assurance team by maintaining critical documentation and records in compliance with FDA regulations. This position plays an essential role in ensuring quality records are accurately copied, scanned, filed, and readily accessible for internal audits, regulatory inspections, and customer requests.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, and takes pride in maintaining accurate documentation in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Scan, photocopy, and organize quality assurance documents and records.
  • File and maintain critical QA documentation to ensure accurate and timely retrieval.
  • Support Quality Assurance documentation processes, including QDW, STW/TMF, and Batch History Record (BHR) archival.
  • Assist other departments with document copying, scanning, and filing as needed.
  • Participate in periodic record audits to verify documentation accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling regulated documentation.
  • Perform other administrative and quality support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to accurately manage and maintain large volumes of documentation.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with scanning, copying, and filing systems.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Previous experience in a regulated manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or quality environment is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods while scanning, copying, and filing documents.
  • Ability to lift and move boxes or files as needed.
  • Ability to perform repetitive filing and document-handling tasks throughout the workday.
