POSITION SUMMARY:
A Psychiatry Residency Program Coordinator manages the daily operations, accreditation compliance, and trainee lifecycle for a psychiatry training program. Key duties include scheduling rotations, coordinating ERAS recruitment, tracking duty hours, maintaining ACGME data in the residency management system (MedHub), and supporting resident wellbeing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Accreditation & Compliance: Maintains program compliance with ACGME standards, including WebADS updates, managing rotation logs, and preparing for site visits.
  • Resident Recruitment & Onboarding: Manages the ERAS application process, coordinates interviews, handles rank list submission, and manages onboarding/offboarding for incoming/outgoing residents.
  • Operational Management: Develops and manages rotation schedules, didactic calendars, and evaluation systems (including Milestones).
  • Record Keeping: Maintains confidential files for residents and faculty, tracking licensure, certifications, and duty hours.
  • Liaison Duties: Serves as the primary contact between the Program Director, residents, faculty, GME office, and affiliated clinical sites.
  • Financial & Administrative Support: Assists with budget tracking, reimbursement, and planning of program events (e.g., orientation, graduation), ensures the accuracy of IRIS reporting through accurate scheduling documentation.
  • Works closely with several departments including the Employee Health Office, Informatics, Security and various members of the Medical Staff to ensure that all resident requirements are met

EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Experience in Medical Education helpful
  • Ongoing commitment to personal growth and education helpful.

Participates in orientation and continuing education and updates and maintains knowledge and skills related to field.

Pay Range: $24.60 - $36.90
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
