Work Schedule: Flexible
Summary
The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Program Management to co-manage our Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) accredited residency program & manage multiple Texas Medical Board (TMB) accredited fellowship training programs. The candidate will assist Program Directors in recruiting, didactic scheduling, evaluations and manage onboarding, orientation, curriculm development, departmental communication and event planning. The candidate will work closely with a team of Program Directors and coordinators to support our education mission.
Job Duties
  • Assists Program Directors with accreditation requirements for all managed programs.
  • Co-manages the residency program and manage multiple TMB-accredited fellowship programs.
  • Coordinates resident and fellowship recruitment activities.
  • Administers trainee onboarding and orientation.Manage the trainee credentialing process.
  • Administers rotation schedules in the MedHub system.
  • Schedules and communicates didactic lectures to trainees.
  • Schedules and communicates trainee parking assignments.
  • Administers and collates evaluations for residency and TMB fellowship programs.
  • Tracks trainee case logs.
  • Proctors trainee examinations.
  • Processes verifications for resident and fellow education.
  • Provides logistical support for semi-annual Clinical Competency Committee meetings and individual semi-annual meetings with Program Directors.
  • Assists residents and fellows with travel and expense reimbursements.
  • Processes PLAs for TMB fellowship programs.
  • Assists Program Directors with site reviews.
  • Tracks documentation of training and educational activities.
  • Facilitates planning for trainee special events, including graduation and research symposiums.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Higher education experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
