Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Location:  Gaithersburg, MD
Type:  Contract to Hire
Length:  Six months plus
Job Description:  Client located in Gaithersburg, Maryland is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a contract to hire position.  Responsibilities include the design and documentation required for the specification, fabrication, assembly, wiring, inspection and installation of equipment related to tactical shelters and mobile communication systems.  Domestic and international travel required.
Required Skills:
1) Mechanical engineering.
2) SolidWorks modeling software.
3) Assembly level drawings.
4) Tolerance standards (IAW AME Y14.5).
Desired Skills:
1) Tactical network systems.
2) Testing hardware / systems to MIL-STD-810.
3) Electrical engineering.
