Job Description We are seeking an Opto-Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in mechanical design for electromechanical sensor integration, wearable hardware, and optical systems for AR/VR and a proven ability to deliver robust designs from concept through production while meeting performance and reliability targets. Responsibilities: Lead mechanical engineering workstreams for electromechanical sensor integration onto wearable hardware, meeting development, performance, and reliability goals. Execute full product development lifecycle activities from concept to production for robust mechanical designs. Partner with cross-functional researchers and engineers to develop wearable architectures for AR/VR interaction. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality prototypes meeting project specifications. Apply knowledge of optical systems used in AR/VR products. Required Skills & Qualifications: BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 3+ years of experience in 3D CAD modeling with Siemens NX. 5+ years of advanced design or R&D experience with electromechanical sensors. Proven ability to apply first principles to complex technical problems. Experience with manufacturing techniques including machining, 3D printing, and injection molding. Demonstrated experience with PCB/PCBA and FPC/FPCA design and integration. Proficiency with NX CAD. Preferred Skills: Experience developing wearable devices for AR/VR applications.
