Assistant Project Manager | Mechanical ConstructionBuild Your Career with a Growing Mechanical Construction Team


Green Meadows Partners is partnering with a rapidly growing mechanical construction contractor to recruit an Assistant Project Manager to join its Operations team.


If you have experience in commercial construction, HVAC, plumbing, piping, mechanical services, project coordination, estimating, or construction administration, this is an outstanding opportunity to take the next step in your career. Whether you've been a Project Coordinator, Project Engineer, Estimator, or have experience supporting commercial construction projects, we'd love to talk with you.


Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers from project kickoff through closeout.
  • Coordinate project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, specifications, shop drawings, and project manuals.
  • Review construction drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
  • Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, field personnel, and internal teams.
  • Track project progress and help resolve issues affecting schedule, budget, or quality.
  • Prepare project reports, meeting notes, and status updates.
  • Assist with permitting, project closeout, and other project administration activities.
  • Visit project sites as needed and maintain strong communication between the office and field.
  • Support a culture focused on safety, quality, and exceptional customer service.


Qualifications

  • Experience in commercial mechanical construction, HVAC, plumbing, piping, engineering, estimating, construction administration, or project coordination.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read construction drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with office staff, field teams, vendors, and customers.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar construction software is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to local project sites as needed.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow into increased project management responsibilities.
