We are looking for a reliable, service-focused Meat Clerk to join our team at Hen House. In this role, you'll support the daily operations of the meat department-ensuring products are fresh, well-stocked, and properly presented while helping guests find the right cuts and solutions for their needs.

Key Responsibilities & Job Duties
  • Provide friendly, helpful, and respectful guest service at all times to ensure a positive shopping experience and encourage repeat visits
  • Package and label meat products accurately in compliance with weight, pricing, and regulatory guidelines
  • Assist guests with product selection, custom cuts (as applicable), and cooking recommendations
  • Stock, rotate, and face products using FIFO methods to maintain freshness, minimize waste, and ensure an appealing presentation
  • Monitor product dates, storage conditions, and temperature logs to maintain quality and reduce shrink
  • Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked service cases and displays
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and temperature control of all meat products
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene standards
