Job description

Job Key Activities and Performance Indicators:
  • Operate and monitor Mazak CNC Lathe to perform various operations
  • Mazatrol programming (write, edit and troubleshooting)
  • Set up the machine, including tool changes, offsets and other necessary adjustments
  • Inspect parts to ensure they meet the specified tolerances and quality standards
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings, understanding geometric tolerances (GD&T)
  • This position will report to the CNC Supervisor and works closely with the production team members and the quality team to ensure that the parts produced meet our rigorous customer quality requirements. Interacts with all other Departments.

    Education and Experience:

    High School diploma or GED.

    Mazatrol Programming

    Geometric Designs and Tolerances (GD&T)

    Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

    CNC Lathe operation- in particular Mazak Lathe Machines

    Skills and Competencies:

    Dependable and can-do attitude required.

    Ability to work independently

    Ability to solve problems and work under pressure a plus.

    Candidate must be comfortable working in an industrial environment.

    Reliable transportation to be at work at scheduled time
