Job description

Our client in Warrendale, PA is looking for a Machinist / Programmer with proven experience programming in Okuma's IGF.
Job Duties:
- Program complex parts using Okuma's IGF control system
- Set up and run Okuma Multus B300 and B400 machines to tight tolerances (typically ±.001")
- Collaborate with CAM and engineering to improve part strategies and programming workflows
- Develop and document setup sheets, tooling strategies, and fixture designs
- Perform first article inspections and ensure in-process quality control
- Troubleshoot production issues in real time, including tool wear, finish deviation, and dimensional issues
- Provide feedback for continuous process and program improvements
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary machining education strongly preferred
- 8+ years of experience operating and programming CNC mills/lathes
- 4+ years specifically programming with IGF on Okuma lathes or Multus platforms
- Skilled in multi-axis CNC programming and use of CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360)
- Proven setup and operation experience on Okuma Multus B300/B400 or similar multi-axis equipment
- High fluency in blueprint reading, GD&T, and aerospace tolerancing standards
- Experience with tight turnaround, low-to-medium volume production
- Familiarity with ERP systems (JobBOSS2 a plus)
- Experience machining exotic materials and aerospace-grade metals
- Exposure to 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles
