$28.00 - $30.00/hour DOE

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking an experienced **Journeyman Mill Operator **for a growing manufacturing company in the Shawnee area. This is a great opportunity for candidates with strong CNC machining experience who are looking for a long-term career opportunity with competitive pay.

Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC vertical mills and metal lathes
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure specifications are met
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Required Experience:
  • 3–5 years of machining experience required
  • Experience operating the following equipment:- Matsuura Vertical Mills- Okuma Vertical Mills- Hurco Vertical Mills- Okuma Metal Lathes
Qualifications:
  • Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
