CNC Machine Operator

Exciting Opportunity for a CNC Machine Operator in Olathe, KS!

Work Hours:7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday

Position Summary:

As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to maintain production quality and efficiency in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC machines to manufacture precision parts according to blueprints and specifications
  • Monitor machine performance and adjust offsets or settings as needed
  • Inspect finished products using measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings
  • Maintain accurate production and inspection records
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve processes and productivity
Requirements:
  • Previous CNC machine operation experience required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining principles
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Skills Required:
  • CNC machine operation
  • Blueprint reading and interpretation
  • Quality inspection and measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
  • Basic troubleshooting and machine adjustments
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic computer skills for production documentation
