They interpret blueprints, edit programs, perform quality checks with precision tools, and troubleshoot machinery to meet tight tolerances.

Key Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Setup and Operation: Set up and operate Mazak multi-axis turning centers and mills.
  • Programming: Program, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs using Mazatrol or G-code.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished parts for defects using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
  • Process Optimization: Optimize, optimize speeds, feeds, and tool selection to improve efficiency.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on Mazak machines, including cleaning and ensuring proper lubrication.
