Job description

Mayvin is seeking an Acquisition Analyst III to support the CPE Ground Soldier Systems. The candidate will support the development of DOD Contracts and Acquisition Documentation for ACAT II - IV DOD Programs as well as Abbreviated Acquisition Programs (AAPs), OTAs / MTAs and other acquisition and contracting efforts. The candidate will be required to work in a collaborative team environment and be comfortable working matrixed personnel as well as both military, civilian, and other contracted personnel.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have an active Secret clearance.
Responsibilities:
  • Executes acquisition management across an entire product line
  • Coordinates products and taskings across the acquisition process and life cycle phases
  • Able to prepare, configure and staff all milestone documentation
  • Assists with determining contracting strategy, prepares contracting documents, and coordinates activities with Army Contracting Command
  • Participate in source selection boards and conduct technical evaluations
  • Leads and provides oversight of product IPTs, test events, test reviews, and product demonstrations
  • Assists in providing contract oversight for assigned products
  • Maintains and manages the program budget and master schedule
  • Identifies cost, schedule and performance tradeoffs
  • Lead and oversee preparation of supply requests packages to Defense Logistics Agency and manage transition of products from PM to DLA or Army Sustainment
  • Develop and draft acquisition strategies, acquisition plans and other acquisition documents
  • Leads tasks supporting pre-award contracts, financial management, risk management, total ownership cost determination, and contract coordination
  • Coordinates contracting actions with local procurement contracting officers
  • Performs acquisition strategy requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in DOD acquisition experience
  • Knowledge of and experience with DODI 5000.02
  • Defense Acquisition System
  • JCIDS

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience supporting US Army product management office
