Job description

Are you ready to grow your career?Empire Today is looking for a Corporate Recruiter to join our fast-paced Talent Acquisition team. The Corporate Recruiter will act as a consultant to hiring managers on sourcing candidates, interviewing, and negotiating offers.

Compensation Information: $70K - $77K annually plus bonus
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for full cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, and hiring, predominantly in a virtual (office) setting.
  • Conduct sourcing for passive talent using traditional and creative sourcing methods including online searches, ATS searches, social media channels, and cold calling.
  • Identify, recruit, interview, assess, and maintain a continual pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Maintain and document candidate communications and hiring process documentation through recruitment ATS (experience with Taleo preferred but not required).
  • Manage posting of positions for recruitment organization on job boards and social media.
  • Develop partnering relationships with hiring managers to maximize recruitment efforts and develop sourcing strategies.
  • Assist in the coordination of interview schedules and travel plans when necessary.
  • Assist recruiting system updates and reporting needs for corporate TA team.
  • Provide guidance to hiring managers in interviewing, negotiating salaries, and managing the recruiting process.
  • Interact daily with leadership and staff across multiple cities in the US to resolve on-boarding needs.
  • Heavy outbound and incoming calls.
  • Respond to candidate inquiries effectively, professionally, and in a timely manner.
  • Work closely and communicate frequently with senior leadership to strategize recruiting initiatives.
  • Prepare proactive plans to effectively address recruiting in assigned markets.
  • Prepare advertisement/sourcing relative to workforce needs.
  • Provide new ideas to increase recruiting performance and deliverables.
  • Maintain a daily log of activities and deliverables.
  • Perform other functions as necessary or as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in human resources or related field preferred.
  • 3-5+ years recruiting or related experience.
  • Previous call center class hiring experience strongly preferred.
  • Previous passive sourcing experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in HRIS system upgrades and/or reporting exp preferred.
  • Proven success in the recruiting field preferably in a home improvement/retail/construction environment.
  • Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, ATS - Taleo, ADP).
  • Proficiency in full cycle recruiting.
  • Ability to cope with pressure and multitasking.
  • Interviewing and recruiting experience in virtual and field settings.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • General knowledge of Federal and State labor laws.
  • Must have high regard for confidentiality.
  • Superior organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple openings concurrently.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Must possess a high degree of self-motivation, and well-developed planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of home improvement industry is a plus.
