Job description

Nutrition that Works, LLC is seeking a consultant dietitian to join our team. This opportunity is serving a long-term care community located in Oxford, MS for 8-24 hours/week, onsite.

Highlights of this Role:
  • Facility Type: Short-term rehab and long-term care
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Hours: 8-24 hours per week (onsite, during normal business hours)
  • Rate: Commensurate with experience. NTW provides above average RD hourly rates.
  • Experience: LTC and MDS experience preferred, not required. Training and refreshers provided.
  • EMR: Matrixcare (training provided)
  • Position Type: 1099 contract position

Your Assignment Will Include:
  • Completing nutritional assessments and maintaining documentation
  • Documenting with the Nutrition Care Process in the electronic medical record system
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary care plan team
  • Calculations and recommendations for tube feedings and wounds
  • Completing MDS including Section K and Section V (CAA's)
  • Maintaining confidentiality and patient information in accordance with HIPAA

Requirements:
  • Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) through the CDR
  • Licensed to practice in Mississippi (must be active prior to start date)
  • Must pass a pre-employment screening process, including background and health checks
