Job description

Activa Home Health is seeking a Billing Coordinator. The individual selected must have experience in healthcare revenue cycle with a strong knowledge of Medicare billing. This is an in-office full-time position for either Boynton Beach, Vero Beach, Maitland, or Ormand Beach locations. This position starts at $20 per hour.

  • Medicare/Medicaid Billing
  • Managed Care billing
  • Home Health Claims processing
  • ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding basics
  • Prior authorization and eligibility verifications
  • Knowledge of Home Health regulations and reimbursement
  • Proficient in claims submission, Payment posting, Denial management, accounts receivable follow-up, Excel and data entry

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in medical billing preferably in home health
  • EMR/EHR and billing software, such as, Kinnser/WellSky, Homecare Homebase or MatrixCare experience
  • Proficient in: Claims submission, Payment posting, Denial management, Accounts receivable follow-up, Excel and data entry
