Job Summary: Provide individual and small group math support to eligible students.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Push in to math classes to provide support to students and pull out small groups of students for math group work as necessary per the Teacher.
  • Review concepts and/or skills with students and assist with preparation for quizzes and tests.
  • Review basic math facts with students utilizing flash cards, worksheets and math puzzles to strengthen skills.
  • Provide technical assistance to students on integrating technology to math instruction and through one to one support on using assistive technology.
  • Assist students with PSSA test preparation.
  • Maintain records of tutoring sessions and maintain student files.
  • Perform clerical duties including checking e-mails, printing, reviewing and filing, making copies, maintain current files, organizing supplies and materials, etc.
  • Communicate with teachers and counselors concerning student progress as needed.
  • Follow curriculum guidelines per the Elementary Curriculum Supervisor and communicate as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal and/or Elementary Curriculum Supervisor.

Position Information:
  • Part-Time, no benefits
  • Range 10, Starting Salary $13.06
  • Flexible hours up to 800 hours/year

Position Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent necessary
  • Advanced or additional math coursework preferred
