Job description

As a Director of Materials Management here at Honeywell, you will lead and oversee materials management process capability for the Process Technologies division with a focus on materials requirements planning, site finite scheduling, network deployment, etc. You will drive the development and implementation of materials management strategies that optimize inventory and meet customer demand efficiently, leveraging your expertise in MRP processes and systems.

You will report directly to our senior leadership and you'll work out of our Houston, Texas location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of Honeywell's supply chain operations by ensuring the seamless integration and utilization of advanced planning tools, improving supply chain responsiveness, and supporting business growth through strategic supply planning leadership.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in materials management leadership, specifically with expertise in MRP, Finite Scheduling
  • Knowledge of tools like S4 Hana for MRP, PPDS and ATP tools.
  • Experience working in materials management in both process manufacturing and discrete manufacturing environments to solve complex problems.
  • Proficiency in utilizing advanced supply planning software and ERP systems to drive supply planning and materials management efficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams, drive accountability, change management, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in the petrochemical or process technology industries, preferably within Honeywell UOP or similar sectors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process optimization and technology integration.
  • Familiarity with SAP ERP systems and Kinaxis RapidResponse is a plus.
  • Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement certification is desirable.

Pay Range:

The annual base salary range for this position is $163,000 - $204,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

  • Lead the transformation efforts to drive improved materials management with a focus on S4 PPDS, MRP, and related planning tools to optimize supply chain performance.
  • Develop and implement supply planning strategies that align with business objectives and customer demand, including integration of the APS and ERP tools.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate supply availability and Order Fulfillment to our customers.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in Materials Management processes and tools to enhance efficiency and reduce inventory costs.
  • Manage key supplier relationships and provide strategic guidance to the supply planning team.
  • Support the development and coaching of supply planning team members to build capabilities and succession readiness.
