What You’ll Do

  • Oversee and optimize daily logistics operations, including receiving, materials handling, order processing, and shipping
  • Lead goods movement activities across the main facility, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety
  • Supervise, coach, and develop a team of material handlers, receivers, order processors, shippers, drivers, and cycle counters
  • Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to support production and customer delivery commitments
  • Maintain accurate inventory, shipment, and materials movement records
  • Conduct cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Drive initiatives that improve material flow, warehouse efficiency, and on-time delivery
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements and best practices
  • Support migration from AS400/InFor systems to Microsoft D365
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards (OSHA, DOT, ISO)
  • Collaborate with procurement, sales, production, and finance to resolve operational challenges
  • Maintain organized, clean, and secure warehouse and storage areas

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, VLOOKUP)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience with ERP / MRP systems
  • Exposure to warehouse management or manufacturing execution systems preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to build relationships, address conflict constructively, and foster a positive team culture
