Fleet Logistics Manager Role Overview

Oversees fleet operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective transportation. Responsible for dispatch planning, vehicle shipments, driver coordination, vendor management, and performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily dispatch, routing, scheduling, and vehicle assignments
  • Coordinate vehicle shipments and third-party drivers
  • Monitor fleet performance, delivery timelines, and logistics costs
  • Maintain accurate records (shipments, costs, repairs, incidents, compliance)
  • Ensure safety standards and transportation regulations are followed
  • Lead and support logistics staff (hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling)
