Job description

Job Title: Fleet & Logistics Supervisor

Location: Coconut Creek Employment Type: Full-Time

We pride ourselves on operational excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction, and we are looking for a skilled Fleet & Logistics Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary: The Fleet & Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily fleet operations, coordinating logistics activities, and ensuring efficient transportation and distribution of goods. This role manages drivers, vehicles, warehouses, and routing to ensure timely deliveries, cost control, and compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in transportation or supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise and coordinate daily fleet operations, including vehicle scheduling, dispatching, and routing

· Monitor driver performance, provide coaching, and ensure adherence to company policies and safety standards

· Oversee maintenance schedules and ensure all vehicles are in safe, operational condition

· Optimize routes and logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs

· Maintain accurate records of fleet activity, fuel usage, inspections, and compliance documentation

· Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations

· Collaborate with warehouse, procurement, and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations

· Handle incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions

· Manage vendor relationships for repairs, fuel, and third-party logistics services

· Analyze logistics data and prepare performance reports for management

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred

· 3–5 years of experience in fleet management, logistics, or transportation supervision

· Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and fleet safety standards

· Experience with fleet management or logistics software systems

· Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

· Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:

· Route optimization and cost-control expertise

· Mechanical knowledge of commercial vehicles

· Class A License

· Data analysis and reporting skills

· Experience managing budgets and KPIs

Work Environment:

· Combination of office and field work

· May require flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 25–50 lbs

· Ability to inspect vehicles and work outdoors as needed
