Sauder Manufacturing Co. sells in four strategic markets: Healthcare Furniture for Acute Care Hospitals, Education Furniture for colleges and universities, Worship furniture for churches, synagogues, courthouses and furniture for human services markets which is a diverse network of agencies providing residential housing to many individuals. SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
Position Summary:
The Materials Management Associate II will perform a variety of duties and responsibilities including acting as the primary receiver and material mover.
  • Primary receiver
  • Forklift Operator
  • Pull materials for production and delivers to proper department
  • Cycle count
  • Unloads deliveries and place product in designated areas
  • Access to HFA
  • Responsible for accurate entry of new inventory

Position Requirements:
  • Attention to fine detail/ must be detail-oriented
  • Ability to be trained and licensed on a Forklift and other Powered industrial vehicles
  • Data entry into computer
  • Regular lifting of product up to 50lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
  • Regular maneuvering and position of product using pallet jack or carts up to 2,000 lbs.
  • Requires full shift of standing, walking, carry product, bending and lifting.
  • Able to read, write and follow instructions, both written and verbal.
  • Able to use handheld power tools with accuracy and precision.
  • Able to assist in training employees
  • Ensures a safe working environment by conforming to all safety guidelines including, but not limited to, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Experience and Knowledge Required:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous Manufacturing Experience preferred
  • Basic math/ability to use calculator
