Machinery Kitter
Automation Personnel Services is seeking an Installer for a company based in Metairie, LA.
The ideal candidate has experience gathering, verifying, staging, and delivering materials needed for production operations. Demonstrated ability to ensure manufacturing teams receive the correct parts and materials in the proper quantities to support production schedules. Experienced in material handling, inventory control, organization of work areas, and maintaining accuracy while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay Rate 
$20.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours 
Monday through Friday, 5:30am to 3:30pm.

Machinery Kitter Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Pull and kit parts based on work orders and bills of material.
  • Verify all components are correct, complete, and in good condition before releasing them to production. 
  • Stage and deliver materials to the proper production areas. 
  • Track material movement between staging and production areas. 
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas using 5S principles. 
  • Report shortages, discrepancies, and quality issues
 
Machinery Kitter Qualifications and Requirements 
  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • 1 to 3 years of manufacturing, material handling, warehouse, or production support experience. 
  • Valid driver's license. 
  • Ability to read work orders, BOMs, and part numbers. 
  • Basic computer and communication skills. 
  • Strong attention to detail and organization. 
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
  • Production-floor manufacturing experience.
  • ERP/MRP or inventory system experience.
  • Forklift or material-handling equipment certification
