Essential Job Summary:

The Material Inspector at Newark MRF facility plays a vital role in the recycling process by interacting with customers and inspecting various grades of materials upon delivery. This position emphasizes customer service, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety while working in a dynamic outdoor environment. The role is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the recycling industry, contributing to the company's sustainability efforts

Essential Job Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
  • Inspect materials upon delivery and interact with customers.
  • Grade materials per established protocols and input percentage breakdown into the tablet.
  • Reject loads that do not meet Facility DEP permit compliance.
  • Control facility traffic flow for safety.
  • Follow company safety procedures and enforce safety policies.
  • Ensure materials are dumped in the designated building.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Must be able to work outside 100%
  • lift 25 lbs, and use a tablet. High school diploma required.
