Position Summary


The Foreman is responsible for leading residential renovation and replacement projects for the Eby Exteriors division. This includes overseeing both interior and exterior scopessuch as kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors, siding, and roofing. The Foreman ensures that all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard of quality. This hands-on leadership role includes managing job site operations, directing crews, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining a professional and organized work environment. The Foreman plays a vital role in delivering the excellence and craftsmanship that define the Eby Exteriors brand.


Essential Functions/Responsibilities


  • Supervise and lead crews in the renovation and replacement of residential interior and exterior components.
  • Manage daily job site activities to ensure safety, cleanliness, productivity, and adherence to schedule.
  • Review blueprints, project scopes, and material requirements prior to project start.
  • Perform and oversee work including demolition, framing, finish carpentry, window and door installation, siding, and roofing.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and ensure their work aligns with project goals and company standards.
  • Serve as the on-site contact for homeowners, maintaining a professional and courteous presence throughout the project.
  • Inspect ongoing work to ensure quality control, code compliance, and alignment with client expectations.
  • Track job progress, crew hours, material usage, and communicate updates to the Project Manager.
  • Train, support, and provide feedback to team members to promote a culture of accountability and growth.
  • Ensure proper use, maintenance, and storage of tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Attend and contribute to job planning meetings and safety briefings.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in residential renovations and replacements, including both interior and exterior work.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a foreman or lead role.
  • Proficiency in general carpentry, finish work, and exterior systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project documentation.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (MVR background check required).
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred.
