Job description

Position Summary:

The Pile Driver Foreman will be responsible for the field planning and installation of footing piles and earth support sheeting systems as directed by the Superintendent.

Responsibilities: 

  • Comply with (and actively promote) all Safety policies and procedures including reporting all accidents, incidents and near misses to ensure adherence to our Number One Core Value - Safety, first in everything we do. 
  • Ensure compliance with TMC Safety Policies and TMC Quality Control Plan. 
  • Ensure that materials required for the week are on site or available. 
  • Collect and enter labor and equipment on a daily basis into Heavy Job. 
  • Maintain quantities of work completed on a daily basis. 
  • Conduct daily huddles in the absence of the Superintendent.
  • Ensure that equipment is cleaned and stored properly at the end of each shift.
  • Assist in planning work schedule and determining labor and equipment needs daily.
  • Report any potential changes or extra's to appropriate Field Superintendent. 
  • Adhere to requirements of the TMC Work Smart program. 

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Pile Driver Foreman working on bridge related construction.
  • Must have knowledge of working around cranes, of all types of bridge construction equipment and forming systems associated with bridge construction.
  • Must have the knowledge to supervise and direct the operations of diesel and vibratory pile driving equipment. 
  • Have a valid driving license. 
  • OSHA 10 certified.
