Concrete Foreman Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced, potentially bilingual Concrete Foreman to lead field crews and oversee daily concrete operations from start to finish. This role is responsible for executing work according to plans and specifications while maintaining a safe, productive, and organized jobsite. The Foreman serves as the front-line leader for crew performance, communication, quality control, and daily reporting.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can communicate effectively in both English and Spanish, keep projects moving efficiently, and uphold high standards for safety, professionalism, and workmanship.

Key ResponsibilitiesCrew Leadership & Communication
  • Lead and direct daily activities of concrete crews with clear expectations and accountability
  • Communicate effectively with both English- and Spanish-speaking team members
  • Translate project plans, safety requirements, and work instructions as needed
  • Promote teamwork, professionalism, and a strong work ethic on the jobsite
  • Mentor crew members and support skill development
Project Execution
  • Execute concrete work according to project plans, specifications, layout, elevations, and Superintendent direction
  • Monitor daily production and ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently
  • Identify potential issues early and communicate solutions before they impact schedule, quality, or budget
  • Support quality control standards throughout all phases of work
Jobsite & Equipment Management
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite at all times
  • Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are properly maintained and secured
  • Inspect equipment regularly and report any damage, safety concerns, or maintenance needs immediately
  • Coordinate material deliveries, equipment usage, and weekly load lists with the Superintendent
Reporting & Documentation
  • Accurately track daily labor hours and crew productivity
  • Complete and submit daily reports detailing work completed, labor, equipment usage, quantities, delays, and jobsite issues
  • Prepare weekly load lists for materials, tools, and equipment needs
  • Assist with documentation related to change orders and T&M work
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Concrete Foreman or similar construction leadership role
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of concrete forming, placement, finishing, and safety practices
  • Ability to manage crews, schedules, and production goals in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
