Job description

NOW HIRING: We are looking for a Production Control Associate to join our Transportation & Infrastructure (T&I) Winsted team. The Production Control Associate s responsible for performing daily Planning & Scheduling and Production Control activities along with and providing manufacturing support.

This is an onsite opportunity in Winsted, MN.

Job Title: Production Control Associate
Location: onsite in Winsted, MN
Salary Range: $22.95 โ€“ 27.00 per hour (Non-Exempt)
(In compliance with Minnesota Pay Transparency Law, this range reflects the anticipated compensation for this role. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, and other factors.)
Shift Schedule: 1st shift Monday โ€“ Friday 7am โ€“ 4pm

As a Production Control Associate, you will:

  • Perform standard production control quality checks ensuring accuracy of jobs before releasing to production
  • Completes job orders including validation of material consumption and labor transactions
  • Executes job change orders
  • Creates tags for material in process and finished materials
  • Creates and updates reports to support the manufacturing (i.e. CARES, labor reports, DMR, etc.)
  • Updates the manufacturing system for WIP
  • Reconciles and ensures proper paperwork is available for operations
  • Facilitate and support continuous improvement opportunities

Role qualifications as an Production Control Associate:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree and 0 yearsโ€™ experience OR a high school diploma and a minimum of 4 yearsโ€™ experience in manufacturing and ERP systems
  • Prefer experience in production control and/or scheduling
  • Microsoft Office skills; particularly with Excel
  • High attention to detail and critical thinking/problem solving
  • MRP/ERP knowledge
  • Ability to solve practical problems and make decisions within a set of guidelines
  • Ability to read and understand required internal manufacturing paperwork
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to work with others as part of a high-performance team
  • Ability to work under limited supervision using standardized practices and/or procedures

Work Environment (Office Roles):

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit/stand; talk or hear; and use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk short distances. On occasion, the employee may be required to stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders. While on the production floor, all employees are required to wear company-provided personal protective equipment (PPE).
