Job Summary
The Receiving Coordinator will be responsible for all inbound freight and outside service job shipments. Verify shipment contents and quantity compared to the pack slip and the purchase order. Work with Quality, Purchasing and Operations employees to resolve issues. Responsible for ensuring that outbound materials are routed according to the Outside service job traveler to include proper components and vendor packaging requirements.
Essential Job Functions
  • Interface with Purchasing, Quality and Material Handlers to ensure that materials are accounted for properly and dispositioned in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Prioritize work based upon operational needs and product identified as past due or HOT.
  • Interface with Warehouse personnel on material flow in and out of receiving.
  • Must accurately transact in Epicor for receipt entry, outside service job processing and inventory transactions.
  • Troubleshoot items related to part identification, routing instructions, part and count accuracy.
  • Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
Physical Requirements
  • Workers are required to lift packages up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent bending or stooping.
  • Required to walk long distances repeatedly throughout the day.
Knowledge
  • High School diploma/GED required.
  • Associates degree preferred.
Experience
  • Prior work in a warehouse setting preferred.
  • ERP system experience (i.e. specifically Epicor, required).
Skills
  • Understanding the importance of the impact on customers.
