About Bridger Aerospace

Bridger provides aerial wildfire surveillance, relief and suppression, and aerial firefighting services using next-generation technology and environmentally friendly and sustainable firefighting methods primarily throughout the United States and Canada, as well as airframe modification and integration solutions for governmental and commercial customers. About the Role

The Master Planner is responsible for developing and managing integrated master schedules that align operational priorities, aircraft maintenance requirements, engineering activities, manufacturing timelines, material availability, and workforce capacity. This individual will serve as a central coordination point across multiple departments to ensure schedules are achievable; risks are identified early, and operational objectives are met.

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Scheduling

Develop and maintain integrated master schedules across operational, maintenance, engineering, and production activities

Coordinate planning timelines to support aircraft readiness, modification programs, inspections, and operational deployments

Balance labor, material, tooling, facility, and aircraft availability constraints

Monitor schedule performance and identify risks, delays, and recovery plans

Support long-range capacity planning and operational forecasting

Cross-Functional Coordination

Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, and Program Management teams to align priorities

Lead recurring planning and scheduling meetings with key stakeholders

Communicate schedule impacts, critical path items, and operational risks to leadership

Ensure alignment between procurement timelines, inventory availability, and scheduled work

Production & Maintenance Planning

Build and manage detailed work schedules for aircraft maintenance, modification, and manufacturing activities

Track work order status, labor utilization, material shortages, and milestone completion

Support prioritization of competing operational and maintenance demands

Assist with developing standardized planning processes and reporting metrics

Reporting & Analytics

Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs related to schedule adherence, resource utilization, aircraft downtime, and operational efficiency

Analyze planning data to improve forecasting accuracy and operational execution

Support leadership with scenario planning and operational decision-making

Continuous Improvement

Identify process improvement opportunities within planning, scheduling, and operational workflows

Support implementation of ERP/MRP systems, planning tools, and operational best practices

Drive standardization and scalability across planning functions

Operational Excellence

Monitor project performance through regular status reviews and corrective action planning.

Champion process improvements to streamline execution and increase agility.

Ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Aviation Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations

Management, or related field, or equivalent experience

5+ years of experience in master planning, production planning, maintenance planning, or program scheduling

Experience in aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, defense, or other highly operational industries

Strong understanding of scheduling methodologies, resource planning, and operational coordination

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and planning/reporting systems

Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic operational environment

Preferred

Experience supporting aircraft maintenance or aerospace manufacturing environments

Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems

Knowledge of FAA-regulated operational environments

Experience with project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar platforms

APICS, PMP, or related certifications preferred
