Overview
Hayward Holdings Inc. is the largest manufacturer of residential swimming pool equipment globally, with a growing presence in the commercial pool market. For over 100 years, Hayward has designed and manufactured innovative pool and spa equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, automation, and energy-efficient solutions.
We are seeking a Master Planner to join our manufacturing operations team in Clemmons, NC. This role is responsible for developing and executing the facility's master production plan, ensuring alignment with customer demand, ERP systems, and operational capacity. The Master Planner plays a critical role in driving production efficiency, inventory optimization, and cross-functional alignment across the plant.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, and communicate the master production schedule to ensure efficient resource utilization and on-time order fulfillment
  • Align production plans with ERP (D365 preferred) and ensure accuracy of scheduling parameters
  • Monitor and reconcile daily production schedules, identifying and resolving gaps
  • Lead planning visibility across key metrics including backlog, bookings, open orders, backorders, and schedule attainment
  • Own and manage inventory levels and safety stock fulfillment in alignment with ERP requirements
  • Communicate risks related to stockouts, lead times, and material constraints
  • Partner with supply chain, commodities, and operations teams to balance demand and supply
  • Support and actively participate in Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) processes
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning, scheduling, and reporting processes
  • Maintain data integrity across ERP systems and reporting tools (Power BI, ODBC, etc.)
  • Lead and develop a team of planners and/or buyers, including performance management and succession planning

Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Master Planning, Production Planning, or Supply Planning
  • Strong experience with ERP systems (Microsoft D365 preferred)
  • Knowledge of Advanced Planning Systems (APS) and production scheduling
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment required
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles (Kanban, JIT, VMI, etc.)
  • Proven ability to analyze data and drive decisions using reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel)
  • Strong cross-functional communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • Experience leading or mentoring planning teams
  • Exposure to SIOP / IBP processes
  • Experience working in high-SKU or complex manufacturing environments
