Summary/Objectiveย ย 
Abode manages the residential portion of the Mass Saveยฎ program, helping ensure efficient operations and consistent contractor compliance with program standards.ย 
The Program Coordinator supports the HPC Account Management team by serving as a key point of contact for contractors, customers, and internal staff. The role provides guidance on program requirements and helps maintain clear, responsive communication across stakeholders.ย 
This position works directly with Home Performance Contractors to help ensure projects are processedย correctlyย andย contractorsย remainย compliant with program rules and guidelines.ย This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to apply strong communication, analytical, and project management skills to advance decarbonization efforts.ย 

Responsibilitiesย 
Reporting to the Program Manager and partnering closely with the Mass Save RTS team, this role may include the following responsibilities:ย 

  • Manage and respond to customer and contractor inquiries by email and phoneย 
    • Create,ย maintain, and resolve customer and contractorย cases/issuesย 
    • Maintain response-time standards and document resolutionsย 
  • Support contractor complianceย 
    • Process annual participation agreements and confirm complianceย 
    • Review contractor certifications regularly and follow up on renewalsย 
    • Update and maintain relevant databases and resourcesย 
    • Track Advisor and Crew Lead information for software accessย 
    • Review and approveย Marketingย piecesย submittedย by HPCs.ย 
  • Provide administrative and documentation support to program staffย 
    • Collaborate daily with the program team and stakeholdersย 
    • Help develop program materials and collateralย 
  • Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholdersย 
    • Track, summarize, and analyze KPIs and other program dataย 
    • Attend contractor-facing meetings as neededย 
    • Support monthly reporting requirementsย 
  • Contribute to program improvement and growthย 
    • Adapt to evolving program needsย 
    • Work with stakeholders to improve program deliveryย 
    • Continue building technical and program knowledgeย 
      • Adapt to ongoing evolutions of program needsโ€ฏย

Qualificationsย 
Strong candidates will bring most of the following skills and experience:ย 

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or 4+ years of relevant experienceย 
  • Interest in sustainability, building science, or climate workย 
  • Experience in a fast-paced office environment in project management or communicationsย 
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft tools and comfort learning new softwareย 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skillsย 
  • Calm, steady approach to working with people from a wide range of backgrounds and needsย 
  • Adaptable, collaborative team player with a positive attitudeย 
  • Self-starter who can manage competing priorities and changing schedules effectivelyย 

The following skills and experience areย preferred:ย 

  • Mass Save experience and knowledge (highly preferred)ย 
  • Heat pump knowledgeย 

The following skills and experience are a plus:ย 

  • Experience training or educating othersย 
  • Experience with customer relationship management software such as Salesforceย 
  • Fluency in Spanish or Portugueseย 

Compensation and Benefitsโ€ฏย 
This is a full-time, exempt position with total compensation targeted between $65K and $75K, depending on relevant skills and experience. The Program Coordinator will work most of the time out of their own home, with some travel as needed to work with other staffย in Abodeโ€™s Concord office and/or to attend events or meetings.โ€ฏ Abode offers its employees a competitive benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance, a matching 401k, and fully paid Parental Leave.
