Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Janus Hotels and Resorts, Inc. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc.  The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment.  If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-service-focused Front Desk Agent to join our Marriott hotel team. The Front Desk Agent is one of the most important faces of our hotel and plays a key role in creating a positive guest experience from arrival through departure.
 
The ideal candidate is professional, upbeat, dependable, computer-savvy, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You should enjoy interacting with people, solving problems, and making guests feel welcome.
 
What You'll Do
  • Welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.
  • Efficiently complete guest check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Verify reservations, guest information, room rates, and payment details.
  • Process credit cards, cash, and other forms of payment accurately.
  • Answer telephone calls and respond promptly to guest questions and requests.
  • Provide information about hotel services, amenities, local attractions, restaurants, and transportation.
  • Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally and work toward effective solutions.
  • Communicate guest requests and important information clearly with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Management, and other departments.
  • Use the hotel's computer systems and property management system to make reservations, update guest information, post charges, and complete daily tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow all cash-handling, credit-card, security, and hotel procedures.
  • Assist with upselling rooms and hotel services when appropriate.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming Front Desk and lobby area.
  • Protect guest privacy and maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel information.
  • Complete required reports and shift responsibilities accurately.
  • Support your fellow team members and contribute to a positive workplace.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
