Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, E-Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field preferred

Work Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in account management, vendor management, customer success, e-commerce, marketplace operations, merchandising, or related field
  • Experience supporting external business relationships preferred
  • Experience working within a marketplace or digital commerce environment preferred

Skills
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both internal and external partners.
  • Foundational understanding of e-commerce, marketplace operations, merchandising, and digital retail concepts.
  • Ability to analyze seller performance metrics and identify opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities:
Seller Onboarding & Activation
  • Support the onboarding and activation of new Marketplace sellers by coordinating documentation, training, setup, and system access.
  • Guide sellers through Marketplace requirements, policies, operational standards, and onboarding milestones.
  • Partner with Marketplace Platform Operations to ensure successful catalog setup, feed integration, and assortment launch.
  • Monitor onboarding progress and proactively address issues that may delay seller activation.

Seller Relationship Management
  • Serve as a day-to-day contact for assigned Marketplace sellers.
  • Build strong working relationships with sellers to support long-term engagement and retention.
  • Conduct routine seller check-ins and support business review preparation.
  • Respond to seller inquiries and coordinate issue resolution across internal teams.

Seller Performance & Growth
  • Monitor seller scorecards and performance metrics, including sales, assortment productivity, content quality, and operational performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve seller productivity and Marketplace contribution.
  • Recommend assortment expansion, promotional participation, and optimization opportunities.
  • Support seller growth initiatives aimed at increasing sales and customer engagement.

Operational Excellence
  • Monitor seller compliance with Marketplace policies and customer experience standards.
  • Escalate operational concerns related to fulfillment, product content, inventory, customer service, or platform performance.
  • Coordinate with Marketplace Platform Operations to resolve seller integration, catalog, and feed-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate seller records and reporting.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with the Senior Marketplace Merchandiser & Business Analyst to identify assortment opportunities and support category growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams to promote seller participation in campaigns and promotional events.
  • Work closely with Marketplace Platform Operations to improve seller onboarding and operational workflows.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that simplify seller processes and enhance seller satisfaction.
