About the Role
We are seeking a Marketplace Operations Specialist to join a fast-paced Marketplace Operations team supporting a key strategic business partner. This role will serve as a subject matter expert for a specific area of the business, helping monitor operational performance, identify risks and opportunities, and improve supply chain efficiency.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, adaptable, and comfortable working independently in an environment where priorities can shift quickly. You will collaborate closely with Planning, Merchandising, Finance, Transportation, Account/Channel teams, and other cross-functional partners to create visibility and drive better business decisions.
What You'll Do
  • Monitor critical operational and performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Analyze and interpret business data to provide clear, accurate, and actionable information to internal and external partners.
  • Support order book health, supply chain execution, service levels, and operational efficiency.
  • Provide timely responses and issue resolution through email, phone, and cross-functional communication.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a broad network of business partners.
  • Support monthly shipment goal-setting and other operational planning activities.
  • Identify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives.
  • Support operational projects and help implement solutions that improve business performance.
  • Work across multiple teams and business areas as priorities evolve.
  • Ensure reporting and operational information is accurate, timely, and relevant.

What We're Looking For
  • 2-3+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, customer operations/service, order management, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in situations involving ambiguity.
  • Strong time-management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Experience working with operational data, performance metrics, reporting, or business analysis.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, or equivalent business productivity tools.
  • Ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with large, cross-functional teams.
  • Flexibility to move between different business areas and quickly adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in supply chain operations, S&OP, performance management, planning, logistics, transportation, order management, or finance.
  • Experience with SAP, ERP, or other supply chain/enterprise systems. Experience with a specific platform is helpful but not required.
  • Experience with reporting, dashboards, data visualization, or business intelligence tools.
  • Retail, apparel, footwear, consumer products, e-commerce, or other high-volume operational experience.
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement or process optimization initiatives.
  • Previous experience working within a large global organization or complex cross-functional environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred but not required.
