The Internship Marketplace connects students and recent graduates with temporary internship opportunities, focusing on skill development and industry exposure. Is 22 too old for an internship?

Internship marketplaces and programs often accept applicants of all ages, including those in their early twenties. Age is generally not a barrier, especially for internships aimed at career changers or skill development; employers value relevant skills, motivation, and willingness to learn over age. Many internships are designed for college students or recent graduates, but mature applicants can also find opportunities suited to their experience level.

What are the Big 4 internships?

The Big 4 internships refer to internship programs offered by the four largest professional services firms: Deloitte, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Ernst & Young (EY), and KPMG. These internships typically provide experience in audit, consulting, tax, and advisory services and are highly competitive for students pursuing careers in accounting, finance, or consulting.

Is 20 an hour good for an internship?

For an internship, earning $20 an hour is generally considered above average, as many internships pay between minimum wage and $15 per hour. However, pay rates vary by industry, location, and the level of responsibility, so it's important to compare with similar roles in your area and field. Additionally, some internships may offer other benefits like training or networking opportunities that add value beyond pay.

How can I find an internship immediately?

Ensure your resume is updated and tailored to the role, and consider reaching out directly to companies or using networking platforms to increase your chances of securing an internship promptly.
