Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Legal Intern to join our Legal Department for a 10-week summer internship. This hybrid position is designed for law students who have completed their first year of law school and have a strong interest in corporate law, international law, and contract law, particularly within a post-integration business environment. The intern will gain hands-on experience supporting legal initiatives and working closely with Sr. Legal Counsel on a variety of corporate and transactional matters.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Sr. Legal Counsel with legal research and analysis related to corporate, contract, and international law matters
  • Support post-integration activities, including contract review, entity management, and compliance tracking
  • Draft, review, and organize contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
  • Participate in due diligence activities related to mergers, acquisitions, and integrations
  • Help maintain contract databases and legal records
  • Prepare summaries, memoranda, and presentations for internal legal and business stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including compliance, finance, and business operations
  • Perform additional legal and administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications

Education

  • Completion of first year of law school (1L required) at an accredited institution

Required Experience

  • Demonstrated interest in corporate law, international law, and contract law
  • Interest in post-integration work, mergers & acquisitions, or corporate operations
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Additional Requirements

Candidates must be located within a commutable distance from our North Shore office in Pittsburgh and able to meet hybrid work expectations
