IT Intern

Part-Time position 

Duration 8-12 weeks

Summer internship for a cybersecurity student joining Southern Industries' IT Department. The intern will contribute to three high-priority security initiatives that directly reduce organizational risk and modernize our identity and access management posture.

This internship role is set to give the student hands-on experience with tools and concepts that directly apply to their cybersecurity coursework:

  • Identity and Access Management (IAM) in an enterprise environment
  • SAML/OIDC protocol implementation
  • Salesforce platform security configuration
  • Risk assessment and policy writing
  • AI governance and data privacy frameworks
