THE JOB:
Under the direction of others, individual will gain knowledge in performing IT, compliance audits, and more in accordance with the IIA's International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing. Individual will learn how to conduct and perform observations and walk-throughs, document examinations, analytical reviews, reconciliations, and other procedures. Individuals will develop an understanding of internal controls and their impact on related business processes.
THE STARTING RATE: $17.00 Hourly
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Receive personalized learning plans specifically aligned to their goals and development opportunities in their chosen area of concentration.
  • Network with Company leaders while attending Resort Knowledge Days, a learning series that provides insight into the complex business strategies of our properties.
  • Gain exposure within one or two departments to gain a cross-functional understanding of the MGM Resorts business strategy.
  • Participate in MGM Resorts' Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives by engaging in diversity training, philanthropic events, etc.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program from an accredited college or university, and within one year of graduation.
  • Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
