This specific role is focused on improving the connection from the TME team and broader Product organization to our community of customers, partners, and prospective customers. You will work in a cross-functional team to develop the NetApp presence on appropriate technical communities (example: Reddit), develop NetApp communities on external platforms (example: NetApp Discord server); and accelerate the ability for TME content to reach the broader technical community through channels like YouTube, LinkedIn, and beyond, in coordination with our social media team.

In doing so, you will help produce regular podcasts/webcasts, as well as acting as a producer for recorded technical videos. You will help grow our library of integrated solution demos using the latest AI-enabled demo creation tools, and partner with other NetApp teams to build an integrated technology stack to make appropriate demos easily findable and usable by our sales teams, partners, and end-customers. All of these activities must collect meaningful engagement metrics and you will own a plan to continue growing that engagement.

  • Help produce consistent technical content and enablement specifically videos, technical talk tracks, demos, etc.
  • Create integration deep dives and "how-to" videos that demonstrate how our technology integrates with partner ecosystems and solves specific customer problems - but not formal product documentation.
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert in webinars and virtual events; evangelize NetApp and assigned technologies at conferences, in videos, and on social media with clear, compelling technical storytelling.
  • Work with the broader Integrated Product & Platform Marketing (IPPM) team to maintain a unified editorial and launch calendar; and coordinate your work with IPPM team to deliver a unified, platform-first, customer-centric story supported by your work.
  • Measure and report asset utilization and impact; drive continuous improvement of deliverables based on data and field insights.
Job Requirements
  • 5+ years in technical marketing, sales engineering, solutions architecture, developer relations, or related roles.
  • Demonstrated understanding in one or more enterprise technology areas. Note that it is not required that a candidate have specific existing expertise on NetApp technologies or the data infrastructure market, but any such expertise is highly desired.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft technical narratives, value proof, and competitive positioning for integrated solutions.
  • Excellent technical writing, communication, and storytelling skills; customer-centric mindset with a bias for action and continuous improvement.
  • Experience building technical communities and building interaction and engagement with customers, partners, and prospective customers.
  • Proven experience building and managing video, audio, and demo environments at scale. Familiarity with modern AI-enabled video creation/editing and demo-creation tools and/or integration into GTM tools is highly desired.
  • Comfortable as a public speaker and on-camera presenter; capable of engaging technical and executive audiences across conferences, webinars, and social media.
  • Strong collaboration and program management skills; able to coordinate cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and the broader Integrated Product &n Portfolio Marketing organization; manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
