Job Summary:

In this role, you will lead outreach, occupancy growth, and brand development for our senior living community. This position is responsible for building relationships with prospective residents, families, referral sources, and the local community to promote our services and maintain a strong census.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to meet or exceed occupancy and revenue goals
  • Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, tours, follow-up, relationship building, and closing
  • Maintain accurate lead tracking, CRM data, and sales reports; analyze metrics to optimize performance
  • Coordinate and host community tours, open houses, and marketing events
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with referral partners, including hospitals, physicians, senior centers, case managers, and discharge planners
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and leadership team to ensure seamless move-in experiences and support resident satisfaction
  • Represent the community at local events, networking functions, and industry gatherings
  • Manage advertising, digital marketing, and promotional materials in alignment with brand standards
  • Maintain current knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes that affect occupancy development
  • Assist in training front-line staff on customer service and referral engagement techniques
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field preferred
  • Must have senior living experience
  • Minimum 2–3 years of sales and marketing experience in long-term care, assisted living, senior housing, or healthcare
  • Excellent communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of the senior care industry, including state regulations and consumer decision-making processes
  • Comfortable using CRM systems to track outreach and results
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Must pass required criminal background check in order to serve vulnerable adults
  • Must be screened TB and other state-required health care conditions
  • Be able to read, write, and comprehend English

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Indoors, climate-controlled assisted living facility with a focus on personalized care
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Constant and repetitive movement of fingers, hands, and wrists
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop on an occasional basis
  • Ability to travel for marketing and company events
  • Possible exposure to unpleasant odors. 
  • Possible exposure to chemicals as indicated in the MSDS manual.
