General Accountability

Profound Medical is seeking a highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented Marketing Communications Specialist to support the execution of integrated marketing campaigns, marketing operations, patient storytelling initiatives, and marketing asset management. This role will serve as a key operational partner across the marketing organization, helping drive campaign execution, CRM optimization, content coordination, and cross-functional project management.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working across multiple marketing disciplines—including digital marketing, CRM management, social media support, content coordination, and analytics—and is eager to grow into a broader marketing leadership role.


Duties and Responsibilities

Marketing Operations (HubSpot Lead)

Serve as the day-to-day marketing lead for HubSpot, supporting campaign execution, CRM management, and process optimization.

  • Manage contact lists, audience segmentation, forms, workflows, and marketing email deployments.
  • Upload and assign sales leads following conferences and events within 24–48 hours.
  • Maintain CRM data quality and support campaign tracking and attribution.
  • Identify opportunities to better leverage HubSpot through automation, reporting, and platform integrations.
  • Support social media publishing and engagement tools as needed.


Marketing Campaigns & Editorial Calendar

Support the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across global channels.

  • Collaborate with the Communications & Marketing Manager to own and maintain the Global Editorial Calendar.
  • Coordinate campaign timelines, deliverables, and approval processes.
  • Help map and execute the remainder of the 2026 editorial calendar.
  • Assist in developing the 2027 editorial calendar and support execution across digital, social, web, and sales channels.


Patient Story Program

Coordinate and grow Profound Medical’s patient testimonial program.

  • Manage patient testimonial submissions and follow-up communications.
  • Coordinate patient stories for use across digital, social media, video, website, and sales materials.
  • Maintain the patient content library and consent documentation.


Marketing Asset Management

Support the organization, approval, and distribution of marketing resources.

  • Administer Showpad, including content updates and user management.
  • Serve as the Marketing representative for Agile content approvals.
  • Manage marketing inventory, the Literature Portal, and the Marketing Closet.
  • Ensure marketing materials remain current, compliant, and easily accessible.


Creative & Content Support

Provide design and production support for marketing initiatives.

  • Update and develop marketing collateral, sales tools, and digital assets.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all materials.
  • Support website content updates as needed.


Milestone Recognition Program

Lead coordination of Profound’s physician milestone recognition program.

  • Manage milestone requests and fulfillment.
  • Coordinate gemstone inventory, vendor relationships, and shipping logistics.
  • Support communications and social recognition activities.


Marketing Analytics & Process Improvement

Support continuous improvement across the Marketing function.

  • Track and report on campaign performance and key marketing metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing workflows and operational efficiency.
  • Support vendor coordination and project management activities as required.


Education

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.


Key Attributes

  • 2–5 years of experience in marketing communications, marketing operations, or a related role.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot (marketing automation and CRM preferred).
  • Experience managing marketing assets, collateral, or content libraries.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and marketing collaboration tools.
  • Graphic design experience with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is a plus.
  • Experience in healthcare, medical device, or life sciences marketing is preferred.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 CAD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and job-related factors.
