Job description

Marketing Coordinator – Events & Operations (Part-Time)
Location: Chesterfield, MO (Hybrid)
Schedule: Part-Time (20–25 hours per week)
Duration: 6–12+ months (temporary contract)
Pay: $26–$36/hour
Kelly® is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to work with our client, a global agribusiness leader, on a long-term temporary basis to provide ongoing support across marketing operations, with a primary focus on industry events and trade show execution. This role supplements a collaborative in-house marketing team. While event management will be the primary focus throughout much of the year, responsibilities will shift based on business needs.
Schedule & Work Environment

  • Part-time schedule of approximately 20–25 hours per week
  • Candidates should be available to work a consistent weekly schedule
  • Hours should generally fall within 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with flexibility to begin as early as 6:00 a.m. if desired
  • Hybrid work arrangement with an expectation of being onsite at the Chesterfield headquarters at least two days per week
  • Occasional domestic travel may be required to support industry events, with the possibility of limited travel to Toronto
Key Responsibilities
Event Management & Trade Show Support (Primary Focus)
  • Coordinate logistics for multiple industry events ranging from large national trade shows to regional tabletop events
  • Serve as the primary coordinator for event logistics, including preparation, packing, shipping, tracking, and return of booths, signage, displays, promotional materials, and other event assets
  • Partner with category marketers to ensure all event materials and supporting content are prepared on schedule
  • Maintain inventory of trade show assets stored in Chesterfield, Toronto, and vendor facilities
  • Coordinate with internal marketing, sales, technical service teams, vendors, shipping partners, and event organizers to ensure successful event execution
  • Assist with onsite event support and travel as needed
Product Packaging Support
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Management, Regulatory, and other stakeholders to maintain business-to-business and private label packaging files
  • Update existing packaging artwork to reflect branding updates, regulatory changes, and certification requirements
  • Track packaging revisions and maintain accurate project status across product SKUs
  • This position focuses on production updates to existing files and does not require advanced graphic design expertise
Budget & Marketing Operations
  • Track departmental marketing expenses and reconcile vendor invoices against annual budgets
  • Maintain budget tracking spreadsheets and prepare basic reporting for marketing leadership
  • Support additional marketing projects and administrative initiatives as business needs evolve throughout the year
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of professional experience supporting marketing, events, project coordination, or related business functions
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience working in a corporate environment is strongly preferred, including an understanding of professional communication and corporate etiquette
  • Previous business-to-business or manufacturing industry experience is preferred
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and detailed workstreams simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience using Excel for formulas, reporting, and basic data analysis
  • Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator or similar design software for basic production edits is preferred
