Job description

About GigSafe

A credentialing gap or an uninsured worker isn't just an HR headache here — it's a liability that can shut down a business.

GigSafe is a contractor management platform built for gig and last-mile delivery operations. We are building infrastructure for the future of 1099 work that helps companies pay independent contractors accurately, on time, and in compliance.

This is a big problem. A large market. And we're early. Come build with us.

Role Overview

GigSafe is looking for its first marketing hire: someone with strong writing instincts, a curiosity for modern GTM practices, and the drive to figure things out as we go. You'll work directly with leadership and the sales team to craft our narrative, shape how we reach the market, and build a modern B2B brand from the ground up.

This role isn't about managing agencies or polishing an existing playbook. It's about rolling up your sleeves, learning the industry, and building something that stands out.

Marketing and go-to-market more broadly is shifting fast. Cold emails are out. Brand trust is built person-to-person, not logo-to-inbox. The best marketers today know how to build relationships, earn attention, and make it feel human. We want someone who's ready to lead in that world.

Responsibilities
  • B2B Social and Email: Run LinkedIn and manage email campaigns, product launches, and thought leadership content
  • Content and SEO: Lead content efforts and SEO strategy that drive inbound interest and build long-term discoverability
  • Positioning and Messaging: Shape how GigSafe shows up in the market, helping us stand out in a crowded compliance and logistics space
  • Sales Enablement: Support the sales team with clear, compelling copy and collateral that moves deals forward
  • Customer Stories: Interview customers and produce case studies that highlight real-world ROI and build credibility
  • Events and Conferences: Plan the coolest events and oversee industry conference presence to maximize ROI and brand visibility
  • GTM Partnership: Work shoulder to shoulder with leadership and GTM to build and iterate our early go-to-market engine
Qualifications
  • Strong writing skills: crisp, clear, and persuasive
  • A sense for positioning and messaging in B2B
  • Familiarity with SEO basics or a willingness to get into the weeds
  • Experience with email marketing tools
  • Solid grasp of marketing operations, funnel metrics, and conversion drivers
  • Bias for fast testing, learning, and iteration
  • Self-directed: you own your work without being chased
Preferred
  • Curiosity about the logistics, independent contractor, or insurtech space
  • Experience at an early-stage startup or in a first marketing hire role
  • Fluency with modern marketing and AI tooling as a force multiplier, not a shortcut
You Should Apply If
  • You've written blogs, threads, or content you're proud of, even if it wasn't part of your job
  • You're eager to learn an industry, its players, and what motivates them
  • You're excited by messy, fast-moving problems and the chance to shape something early
  • You care about making B2B products feel clear, human, and differentiated
  • You've always wanted to own the story, not just follow it
You Shouldn't Apply If
  • You need a playbook before you make a move
  • Ambiguity slows you down
  • You want big-company structure or strict role definitions
  • You're looking for a predictable 9-5 with clear swim lanes
What We Value

Startup Mentality: You're energized by ambiguity, not slowed down by it. When the playbook doesn't exist, you write it. You move fast, stay adaptable, and don't need perfect conditions to make progress.

Give a Sh*t: You care about the work, the customers, the contractors on the platform, and the people sitting next to you. You hold yourself to a high standard not because someone's watching, but because mediocrity bothers you.

Ownership: You treat the company's success as your own, because it is. You take responsibility for outcomes and close the loop without being asked. When something's broken, you fix it, even if it's not your job.

Collaborative: You make the people around you better. Low ego, high trust, and emotionally intelligent. You communicate directly, share credit generously, and don't create unnecessary friction for your teammates.

Critical Thinker: You connect dots, figure things out, and bring solutions, not just problems. You're resourceful and intellectually curious, and you don't need hand-holding to do great work.

Benefits
  • Health, Dental & Vision: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents
  • Unlimited PTO: Flexible time off plus paid company holidays
  • Competitive Compensation: Competitive base salary with opportunities for performance-based bonuses
  • 401(k): Retirement savings plan
  • Equity: Stock options giving employees a meaningful stake in GigSafe's growth
  • Parental Leave: Paid leave for all new parents
