Job description

Your Impact on our Mission

Zocdoc's most important asset is our people. As a B2B Marketing Events Associate, you'll play a meaningful role in helping connect healthcare providers with the patients who need them most. You'll support the planning and execution of events that drive awareness, generate qualified leads, and accelerate growth for Zocdoc's Provider business.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing B2B marketing organization and work alongside a team passionate about reimagining how healthcare providers engage with patients and peers. You'll gain hands-on experience in event strategy, logistics, and cross-functional marketing execution - and see the direct impact of your work on business outcomes.

You'll enjoy this role if you are...

  • Energized by the fast pace of marketing and the variety of event work - from large industry conferences to intimate field events and virtual webinars.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • A proactive self-starter who takes ownership, drives work forward independently, and follows through consistently without heavy oversight or prompting.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities while maintaining strong operational execution and attention to detail.
  • Excited by both in-person and virtual event production, and interested in learning the technical and operational components of webinar execution and live event management.
  • A strong communicator and collaborative problem solver who enjoys working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing Ops, Creative, vendors, and external partners.
  • Interested in data and performance - you want to understand what worked, what didn't, and how to continuously improve event impact and pipeline contribution.
  • Calm under pressure and able to think critically in fast-moving, live event environments.
  • Serious about your work, but not about yourself - you bring curiosity, teamwork, accountability, and a good sense of humor to everything you do.

Your day to day is...

  • Supporting the planning, sourcing, logistics, and execution of Zocdoc's B2B marketing events - including trade shows, hosted dinners, field events, and webinars.
  • Supporting webinar production and virtual event execution through Zoom Webinar, including speaker coordination, rehearsal management, polling/Q&A setup, technical preparation, and live production support.
  • Managing multiple event timelines, deliverables, vendor communications, and operational workstreams simultaneously to ensure seamless execution across conferences, field events, and virtual programs.
  • Coordinating closely with cross-functional partners across Sales, Creative, Marketing Ops, and Analytics to align on event deliverables, attendee strategy, onsite support, and reporting.
  • Assisting in pre-event outreach, onsite coordination, attendee management, and post-event follow-up tied to pipeline generation and relationship-building efforts.
  • Maintaining detailed event documentation, timelines, planning trackers, production notes, and operational checklists to support organizational consistency and execution quality.
  • Coordinating shipment of materials, inventory management, event swag, booth assets, and vendor logistics to support seamless onsite execution.
  • Researching and evaluating event opportunities, venues, vendors, and field event concepts to support future event strategy and planning decisions.
  • Traveling as needed to support onsite execution of conferences, field events, hosted experiences, and webinars, including occasional early mornings, evening events, and multi-day conference support.
  • Supporting at least two webinars per quarter and becoming comfortable navigating Zoom Webinar production tools and workflows.

You'll be successful in this role if you have...

  • 2-4 years of experience in B2B events, field marketing, webinar production, or experiential marketing, ideally in SaaS, healthcare, or technology.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple deadlines and workstreams simultaneously with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to synthesize information quickly and execute thoughtfully.
  • A strong sense of ownership and follow-through; proactively identifies gaps, drives next steps independently, and consistently moves projects forward.
  • Comfort working in highly collaborative, fast-moving environments with shifting priorities and evolving timelines.
  • Experience supporting live event and webinar production environments preferred, including familiarity with Zoom Webinar production tools such as polling, Q&A moderation, rehearsal management, and speaker coordination.
  • Strong operational mindset and attention to detail, with the ability to remain organized and calm under pressure during live event execution.
  • The ability to integrate generative AI tools into daily workflows to automate tasks, foster innovation, and maximize productivity.
  • Humility and respect for teammates - you believe in treating all people with dignity and empathy, regardless of title or tenure.

Benefits:

  • Flexible, hybrid work environment at our convenient Soho location
  • Unlimited Vacation
  • 100% paid employee health benefit options (including medical, dental, and vision)
  • Commuter Benefits
  • 401(k) with employer funded match
  • Corporate wellness program with Wellhub
  • Sabbatical leave (for employees with 5+ years of service)
  • Competitive paid parental leave and fertility/family planning reimbursement
  • Cell phone reimbursement
  • Catered lunch everyday along with beverages and snacks
