About the Opportunity

The Portfolio Growth Manager is responsible for the commercial success and long-term performance of an assigned product portfolio. This role develops and executes strategies that accelerate profitable growth by optimizing the existing portfolio through customer insights, commercial intelligence, pricing strategy, portfolio rationalization, competitive positioning, and lifecycle management.
Serving as the business owner for the portfolio, the Portfolio Growth Manager works cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Experience to maximize revenue, margin, and customer value throughout the product lifecycle.
While supporting commercialization of new products, the primary focus is driving growth and profitability from Dexter's existing product portfolio before introducing additional complexity through new product development. This role develops portfolio and channel strategies that optimize product performance across Dexter's multi-channel commercial model—including direct OEM sales, company-owned distribution locations, third-party distributors and dealer partners, and eCommerce platforms—working closely with Sales and Marketing to support execution and profitable growth.

What You Will DoPortfolio Strategy & Growth
  • Own the commercial strategy and financial performance for assigned product portfolios.
  • Develop portfolio growth strategies that increase revenue, market share, profitability, and customer value.
  • • Develop channel-specific portfolio strategies that optimize product assortment, pricing, positioning, and lifecycle decisions across Dexter's OEM, distribution, dealer, and eCommerce channels while partnering with Sales to drive commercial execution.
  • Continuously evaluate portfolio performance and identify opportunities to improve growth, margin, and operational efficiency.
  • Recommend pricing, assortment, simplification, and lifecycle strategies.
Customer & Market Intelligence
  • Translate customer needs, VOC, market trends, and competitive intelligence into portfolio strategies.
  • Conduct customer visits, market research, and competitive analysis.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to identify growth opportunities.
Portfolio Lifecycle Management
  • Manage products throughout their lifecycle from introduction through retirement.
  • Lead product enhancements, simplification, and end-of-life decisions.
  • Balance customer requirements with operational efficiency and supply chain considerations.
Commercialization & Sales Enablement
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to accelerate portfolio growth.
  • Develop value propositions, sales tools, pricing recommendations, and promotional strategies.
  • Monitor commercial performance and recommend corrective actions.
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Sales.
