Art Director

Regular Full-Time Atlanta, IN, Atlanta, IN, US 1 Attachments

Great brands don't happen by accident, they're built through bold ideas, thoughtful collaboration, and exceptional execution. As an Art Director at Beck's, you'll work alongside the Creative Director to help shape and elevate the creative vision of one of the most recognized brands in agriculture. You'll transform marketing objectives into compelling visual concepts, guiding projects from initial idea through final execution. Partnering closely with the Creative Director, Senior Copywriter, designers, videographers, and marketing team, you'll help develop work that inspires customers and strengthens the Beck's brand.

No two days look the same. One day you may be developing the visual direction for a major product launch, the next your art directing a photo shoot, reviewing campaign concepts, or helping a designer solve a creative challenge. From print and digital to environmental graphics, events, video, and emerging platforms, you'll have the opportunity to influence how Beck's shows up across every customer touchpoint.

We're looking for someone who is equal parts designer, creative thinker, collaborator, and problem solver—someone who is energized by developing big ideas but is just as excited to jump into the day-to-day work that brings those ideas to life. You'll be equally comfortable presenting campaign concepts, mentoring designers, creating production-ready files, art directing a photo shoot, or making the small refinements that elevate a project from good to exceptional. You lead through creativity, collaboration, and action, setting the standard by contributing wherever your talents make the greatest impact.

This role is based in-office at our Atlanta, IN headquarters.

As a member of the Beck’s Family of employees, all full-time employees are eligible for a generous benefits package:

  • Health benefits including two medical plan options and company HSA contributions, dental, vision, employer paid life/AD&D for you and your dependents, disability insurance, and access to an onsite Nurse Practitioner
  • 401k plan match & company sponsored pension plan and access to a Financial Advisor to help you manage your retirement savings
  • Paid time off, Paid Holidays, Wellness Programs, & Corporate Discounts
  • Company Christmas Party, Free Lunch, Two Hundred Dollar Merchandise Allowance, & Much More
Responsibilities
  • Guide the creative development of marketing campaigns and creative projects assigned by the Creative Director, providing visual direction, collaborating with designers throughout the creative process, and ensuring each project is executed with exceptional quality, consistency, and alignment to the Beck's brand.
  • Partner with the Creative Director to develop and execute the creative vision for the Beck's brand across a variety of marketing initiatives.
  • Create original design concepts, key campaign assets, and production-ready deliverables across print, digital, environmental, event, video, and other marketing channels, establishing the visual direction that other designers can build from and execute consistently.
  • Empower designers to make confident creative decisions by providing clear direction, timely feedback, and an established visual framework for assigned projects.
  • Balance creative direction with hands-on design work, contributing wherever your expertise can make the greatest impact while ensuring projects are delivered with exceptional quality.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions and collaborate with the Senior Copywriter, Content Curator, Video Director, and other marketing partners to develop integrated campaign concepts.
  • Present creative concepts, campaign strategies, and design intent to the Creative Director for approval.
  • Review design work throughout the creative process to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with the established creative direction and Beck's brand standards.
  • Mentor designers by sharing knowledge, providing constructive feedback, and helping elevate the overall quality of work across the department.
  • Collaborate with photographers, videographers, copywriters, and marketing partners to develop cohesive, cross-channel campaigns.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve creative processes, design systems, templates, and workflows that increase efficiency and creative consistency.
  • Support print production, vendor communication, press checks, and final quality assurance when necessary.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Creative Director and Marketing Communications Manager
Job Requirements1.Education and training:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record as determined by Beck’s automobile insurance policy.
2.Technical knowledge:
  • Demonstrated creativity with a strong understanding of design principles, typography, color, composition, and visual storytelling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively present ideas and collaborate.
  • Proven ability to provide and receive constructive feedback while fostering a positive, collaborative creative environment.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to inspire, guide, and support.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment where priorities and responsibilities may evolve.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Experience with Figma or other creative software is a plus.
3.Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns from concept through completion.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of professional graphic design or visual communications experience, including experience in a senior creative role.

** In an effort to provide a safer, drug-free workplace for employees, all full-time applicants to whom offers of employment are made must submit to a drug test and background check, subject to applicable local, state, or federal laws or regulations.
